…(since last Friday) and it feels as though he was born just yesterday

After 3 weeks of (daycare) holidays, the pumpkin went back to her little friends yesterday & had a wonderful time. She´s recounting their names every night, before I tuck her in…one has to make sure that all their friends are going to bed too, right
We really indulged in enjoying “summer” (what´s up with autumn arriving WAY to early this year?) and familytime (thanks to grandma, who helped us tremendously, when Papi was at work!!!) and somehow it now feels spookily quiet over here, with just the muffin and I
Please bear with me, as we´re still in full force enjoying our little family and me trying to catch up with my endless to-do-list.

We´re already missing the rebellious donkey, who was here (right across the street on the soccerfield) with his circus for a couple of days this past weekend…Pumpkin was so very excited and couldn´t stop laughing when we heard him braying throughout the days and nights
She also loved to visit & pet all the animals (goats, horses, ducks, dogs, camels…) daily…it´s a beautiful experience to have a circus right there when we step out the door and we can´t wait for the next one to stop by.
