A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed
in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its
Ansel Adams

Even when I was little I spent hour after hour cutting pictures out of magazines that inspired me. Pictures that made me dream and be happy, when I looked at and studied them.

Starting with my parents´ camera until I had my very own first digital camera not long after, I passionately tried to capture in my images what faszinated me so much in others´ – moments…feelings…emotions.

Everything I want to “later” remember so badly.

Everytime I turned the camera in the direction of a familymember, I´d always hear

“…not again… Jessicaaaaaa…” ;)

The tragical and sudden death of my beloved baby-sister on July 7th 2007 showed me once more how important it is to capture every little detail with my camera.

Even though it still hurts to look at her pictures – there will be a time when I will smile again…over the faces she made…over her glowing smile that I´ve loved so much…over moments we were able to spend with each other.

Don´t take those wonderful and unique moments in your family for granted.

Let me capture them for you.
