…and I just realized that I completely forgot to update the english part of my blog with last months happenings…whoops…sorry about that…let´s just say my life is FULL right now

Rolling, rolling and some more rolling over…accompanied with crying and some more crying when he couldn´t figure out how to roll back (he still doesn´t)…FUN times

…month 5 has been CRAZY in more than one regards…
Autumns waves of colds have hit the Pumpkin-Muffin-abode badly and one after the other we´ve been sick to no end…Pumpkin (whose favourite words right now are “I can do that…”…) had to even spend the halloween-weekend in hospital for monitoring

Muffin has been keeping himself occupied with an inhaler from the doctor…

We will have to go see the doctor again this week though, because things have gotten worse again…on top of that the dude is teething like crazy…LOTS of tears shed over here
Was it really me, that said I loved autumn??? Uhm…yeah…

I have been taking more picture with my iPhone lately (and loving that too!), so here are a few Instagram-Pictures of that last month (which in retrospect hasn´t been that bad after all of course):

#6 pretty autumnlight sneaking it´s way into the familyroom
#7 Pumpkin´s first circus-experience…she was mesmerized and had an amazing time
#8 and even though there never seems to be enough hours in the day, I always find the time (it´s relaxing to me) to bake something yummy for my family…just like those delicious Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies (like I said, October is Pumpkintime )

…how much I have missed fall with all it’s changing colors and that beautiful light…Welcome back friend

…1/4 year…13 weeks & 1 day…92 days (and that´s where I decide to stop )
(and nope, I didn´t plan on posting once a month only…but kids and plans…oh well, you know how those work together!?)
I cannot even describe how happy and complete the little muffinbaby makes us…his beams and chuckles and smiles totally warm your heart…SIGH, I´m in love…completely and head over heels…I know I´m repeating myself, but…children really are something special

And those little rolls…I believe I waited forever for those on pumpkin…and in the end of no avail
The wee shoes I´ve got HERE…Pumpkin has the same with a catface (a Molly, as she would proclaim…every cat is named after my parents´ ) and both are crafted from sheepskin with sheep´s wool inside…beautiful quality and definitely to recommend!!!

Since about a week ago the “little” man does not fit into the basket (the one that I was sleeping in as a baby no less) anylonger…(time for some pictures in the new bigger basket )

And here we go again…he can´t be bothered too long with mama holding that big black thing in front of her face

The Pumpkin could tell you a story about that…the little rascal can only be caught from behind whenever she just suspects a camera to be pointed at her…just like at the festival we´ve attended over the weekend in our little town…

And just because I need to be in some pictures for our familybook too, the mister took my camera and snapped a few sweet ones of the dude and I…Pumpkin was way to busy playing with her little friends to be bothered

And with this little update I release you into a very beautiful new week.

* the post was supposed to go up last night, but after I finished the german version I got sidetracked by a certain little man

…(since last Friday) and it feels as though he was born just yesterday (I know I´m repeating myself here, but how fast is time flying by?)

My chunky little dude *SIGH*

After 3 weeks of (daycare) holidays, the pumpkin went back to her little friends yesterday & had a wonderful time. She´s recounting their names every night, before I tuck her in…one has to make sure that all their friends are going to bed too, right

We really indulged in enjoying “summer” (what´s up with autumn arriving WAY to early this year?) and familytime (thanks to grandma, who helped us tremendously, when Papi was at work!!!) and somehow it now feels spookily quiet over here, with just the muffin and I

Please bear with me, as we´re still in full force enjoying our little family and me trying to catch up with my endless to-do-list.

Have a very happy week everyone.
We´re already missing the rebellious donkey, who was here (right across the street on the soccerfield) with his circus for a couple of days this past weekend…Pumpkin was so very excited and couldn´t stop laughing when we heard him braying throughout the days and nights
She also loved to visit & pet all the animals (goats, horses, ducks, dogs, camels…) daily…it´s a beautiful experience to have a circus right there when we step out the door and we can´t wait for the next one to stop by.

…already (2 days ago)…crazy how time flies!

In the last few weeks we:
* got to know each other
* slept more or less during the nights and days
* kissed
* cuddled
* nursed
* swaddled
* carried (a hallelujah for babycarriers!!!)
* sang tirelessly (this version is the most soothing here in Pumpkincastle!!!) and
* “bounced” (what would I do without our big green bouncing ball and the Lullababy (can´t find an english version, but you get the idea!?)…seriously…MUST HAVES!!!)

I adore his side profile and that little button nose…I could nibble on it all day long

And even though it feels like I get NOTHING done at all and my nerves are being quite stretched some days…we couldn´t be happier with our two (TWO!!! I´d have never guessed I would have two…or children at all…scared of the birthing process and stuff…even though I had always wanted lots of them…not going to tell how many though…unless I already did at some point…uhm…anyways…TWO…mine…both of them )

And another cheeky smile at last…sigh!!!

I guess after a month I can safely say, that the four of us are getting along pretty well and that we´ll definitely keep the wee dude
