…in our little family 
I still can´t believe it´s been a year today, October 13th, that my doctor looked at me doubtful after I´ve visited her for the 2nd time in 2 weeks because of an allegedly “tummybug”…she found it suspicious and didn´t want to prescribe any meds unless I couldn´t make 100% sure that I was not pregnant…”HA right, as if…didn´t she see my body was taken over by that mean tummybug…pffft!” I thought 
My ob-gyn was already closed for the day, so I took a test back at home…wow…I almost fainted when I saw the positive sign before even I could put the test away to wait for the result
This one and the day after, when we saw her the first time on the screen, was definitely one the most beautiful days in my life…
…quickly followed by the day 4 1/2 months ago, when we held her in our arms for the very first time…our sweet crazy little owl (a term us germans often use for silly little kids…or adults too )…our Pumpkin
In 6 days, on October 19th, the mister and I celebrate our anniversary…a big one…10 years…holy…so much has happened in those 10 years…we´ve been living together for almost 8 of them…have been seperated due to my travels various times for longer periods (the longest was 1 year of me living and working in the US as an au pair…quickly followed by 10 weeks working in Greece and 2-5 weeks in between those years)…and as every couple of course had our fair share of ups and downs…the death of my sister 2 years ago has brought us closer together than ever…I can NOT imagine life without the mister anymore and am really truly feeling like the luckiest person on earth to have met him…to have him be the papa to our daughter…I LOVE YOU M…more than you can imagine and more than words could ever describe!!!
